Join us for an informative webinar as Matt Crouch, Events Law Specialist, discusses the new unfair terms laws with PCOA President Barry Neame.

These new laws widen the application of the “unfair terms” regime throughout Australia. Unfair terms, as defined, will be unenforceable, and even offering them to clients and event participants could lead to significant fines for PCOs.

PCOs need to understand these new rules to avoid claims by clients, sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates that their terms are “unfair” – and to avoid exposure to hefty penalties.

In this webinar, Matt will cover:

  • When and to which contracts the new laws apply.
  • What terms could be “unfair.”
  • The consequences of a term being found to be unfair.
  • Steps PCOs need to take to adjust their contracts, ensuring they are enforceable and protecting both PCOs and their clients.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to gain valuable insights and ensure your contracts comply with these important new laws.
